We'll fill you in on final plans for Independents Week (July 1-7) and how you can get your business involved! We will have the new 'consumer' tshirt and buttons available for sale (both feature the "I'm the Independent type' -- I eat, drink, shop, think LOCAL FIRST), we will provide a web link and art for the Independents Week poster to display in your store, office etc.
Equally important: we have invited two representatives from the Illinois Department of Insurance who will answer questions about the new HEALTH CARE REFORM ACT and how it will impact small and independent businesses. They will also address WORKERS COMPENSATION programs and fraud prevention. These are very important topics for all business owners and we hope you will attend to get your questions answered.
